Gorniak, 14 Aug 2004 The Worldwide Tribute cds are brilliant ,not necassarily because of the likeness to the original recording but because each band has taken the trouble to put their own efforts into a tribute to the bands that started it alll.The often forgotten heroes of true punk.Not the glammy bands that were in the charts (these bands were often banned).Even down to the business who pay tribute to other bands who inspired them & roger mirete who was a hero of oi!.I have alll the original recordings of the tracks on the tribute to oi! 1 & 2 .I also have the 2 cds that pay tribute & each in their own way are brilliant .The originals because it was a part of my youth,but the tribute because its the next generation saying thanks for the insperation you have given us.If you havnt got them .Dont hesitate ....
