Watched this at the cinema when if first came out, excellent. If you like cult 70's filems you won't be disappointed. However, you need some form of frame of reference. For example, dope, 70's cars or 70's cop shows etc. Without these you'll probably be disappointed. My girlie fell asleep during the film. Hmm, she's got to go.

If you have smoked you MUST see this movie - By: , 10 Oct 2003
Best to see it, some of you will think it is stupid, some will find parts funny but i think most will find it great.

You'll never think of vans the same again. The main one in here its body is made of grass, good stuff too, whoever built it should have thought about the exhaust though ;-))

Watch for the scene where two friends (just friends) of opposite sex are in the back of the van describing how each of their best friends have sex..... sounds & motion.. the van is rocking like it was on the sea.. & outside? About 50 Hells Angels... watch it, you'll understand then.

Cheech & Chong UP IN SMOKE..
What a fabulous movie, started off a little slow, then burst into life as the plot began to reveale itself.

A most unusual theme which will appeal to anyone who has ever smoked a joint.

The movie details the trials & tribulations of two young hippies trying to score some pot in the smalll local town, & how things begin to esccalate out of control when they embark on a journey across the mexican border in a van which unbeknown to them is made of grass.

The great music which runs through the movie is excellent, & lends its self wonderfully to the theme.

It had me laughing uncontrolably out loud until my sides hurt.
The music which runs through the movie reallly enhances the plot

Would recommend viewing, a great tonic for anyone feeling down.
