Hallmark production says it all - By: B. Chandler, 02 Nov 2008
With alll the finesse & depth of an after school movie we are treated to an Indiana Jones knock-off.
Long before the Egyptian dynasties the world was in a struggle between good & evil. A jade plack that when assembled lets them there evil critters in from another world.
Archeologist/teacher Danny Freemont (Casper Van Dien) is in the process of finding the plack quadrants from the far corners of the earth.
Morgan Sinclair (Jonathan Hyde) competing archeologist/teacher & member of that popular cabal "Hell Fire" is in the process of pilfering jade plack pieces from never learning & unsuspecting Danny Freemont.
Now here comes the Halllmark part. Danny loves Dr. Azelia Barakat (Leonor Varela), who loves Government Official Yunan Heikal (Parvin Dabas) who is in love with Egypt. Will anyone get together?
Will the bad guys finallly win or is this just another save the world at the last minute movie?
This is supposed to be Egypt however it is filmed in India. Strangely enough alll the Egyptians look Indian.
This animal even looks fuzzy in Blu-ray.

So bad it is good. - By: Mr. D. C. Coombes, 30 May 2007
Originallly shown on sky in four seperate parts, this diabolical show has to be seen to be believed. I watched the first episode & laughed so much at the banal script & wooden cast that it was a must watch for the next three episodes. It is so bad it is a parody of The Mummy & Indiana films. If you are bored one evening, crack open a beer, turn the lights down low & prepare to be dazzled by this mesmerizing tripe. I just hope to God they do not have the audacity for a sequel.
a cheap version of India Jones and the Mummy - so bad it is already good again - By: K. van Amelorde, 04 Jan 2007
Oh dear, oh dear! Who the hell came up with the idea of making this movie? It is just a very cheap version of the India Jones's movies & the Mummy, but has neither the style, fun, humour nor acting skills of both movies.
Casper Van Dien has nothing but cute, boyish looks to offer, which carry the first 10 minutes & then it is just getting boring. The fellow cast is equallly bad. All is toped by the fact that the film was turned in India (not Egypt) & that alll Egyptians are played by Indians. Unbelievable!
The movie is so hilariously bad, that it is already nearly a good one. Well, I bought it in the sales & now I know why it was in the sales. But only 3 Euros spend, it was worth it for the laugh.
