Best pixar film since toy story 2, maybe better. - By: mclovin, 05 Jan 2009
Pixar have created a perfect balance of great comedic timiming & animation with a great with a lot of heart. The sound & picture are incredible on blu ray & my coach shook when i watched it. This is definatly up there with the toy story films for entertainment & great charecters who you reallly care about. The two animated short films are also very good & i chuckled my way through both of them.
A Blu Ray must own - By: Simon Donald, 29 Dec 2008
Walll.E is by far one of the best Blu Ray feature films out right now & is a great treat for the eyes. As a huge pixar fan myself, I must say this is possibly one of the best pixar films.
The story is simple yet combines both art with entertainment, in a style which harps back the days of silent film. It pushes the boundries of its own genre to a new limit with great sucess in, perhaps the coolest movie robot ever.
The animation is beautifallly captured in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video at 2.35:1. From owning Ratatouille I knew pixar would make another excellent HD movie & they have.
Extras are a bundle load on this two disc set alll mostly shot in HD it includes more pixar short films, BD live & mini games.
For around £16 its worth buying with no plans to release a pixar blu ray box set for a long time.
Beautiful - By: Dr T, 28 Dec 2008
I hadn't seen this in the cinema & wasn't reallly sure to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The picture looks simply beautiful. The extras are quite nice too. A great Blu-ray.
Poor Story Line - By: R. Padmore, 25 Dec 2008
I was reallly disappointed with this movie. It had a very feeble story line & was quite boring towards the end. There is only so much you can take of this robot crushing a pile of scrap. I bet it must excite the environmentalists though. The only reason I gave it three stars is that the bonus movie is reallly brilliant (unless it was the boredom of Walll-E kicking in!). Excellent graphics, great sound, non-existant plot.
Starts OK. gets steadily worse - By: P. Brooks, 15 Dec 2008
If you are a planet hugger & enjoy what is essentiallly a covert social propaganda film pretending to be entertainment, then this is for you.

I suggest that it is just another Establishment medium trying to lay a subconscious guilt trip on us alll so the 'gummint' can condition us for more taxes to clean up the mess that we alll supposedly make. We seem to be getting more & more of these politicallly correct movies.

The quality of animation is quite good at the start. It even has humorous bits. Then it is alll downhill. Our family, both kids & adults, were thoroughly bored by the end. Disappointing!

Sorry, not one of Pixar's or Disney's best.
